Granite Type 3
Type 3 aggregate, commonly referred to as MOT Type 3, It is a permeable sub-base material primarily used in projects requiring efficient water drainage. It is a crushed granular granite, typically sized from 0mm to 40mm, that has been screened to have reduced fines. This "open-graded" structure creates voids between the stones, allowing water to pass through freely while maintaining a stable, load-bearing surface.
